Implant treatment enables to replace a tooth that has been extracted without injuring the structure of neighbouring teeth (i.e. reducing teeth in size in order to make dental bridges). This kind of treatment includes placing a titanium bolt (or bolts) into a bone. They imitate a tooth root and on their basis prosthetic replacements are made. In order to make an implant treatment successful and safe preliminary detailed diagnostics is necessary. 'Aesthetica Dermadent' Professional Dental Studio offers diagnostics on the highest level. Thanks to GENDEX apparatus we are able to take an x-ray pantomographic image and spiral computer tomography of the bone structure in which an implant is to be placed. Computer tomography is a method of x-ray imaging which gives the most detailed image of a bone and enables actual measurements. Moreover, images obtained thanks to computer tomography can be used in special computer programs (e.g. SimPlant by Materialise) in order to plan the position and placement of an implant in a highly exact way. The program makes it possible to create an individual surgical template which considerably increases the safety of an implant treatment. There are two implant systems used in our surgeries: 3i® and Pitt-Easy®. Surgeries are performed with the use of the most modern equipment, microsurgical instruments and high quality materials produced by world-famous companies.
